Mayor Bob Leonard Park Improvements

Project Description:  

The Town of Farragut Parks and Leisure Services and Engineering Departments are working to make improvements to the park via a TDEC grant of $500,000.  Improvements include renovation and expansion of an existing restroom while adding a changing facilities space, the synthetic turf field conversion for rectangular field #3, the parking addition at baseball field #2 , and additional landscaping.

Status as of 8/22/17: 

Construction is underway on all three major elements of the park: restroom renovation, field conversion and construction of additional parking. Parking will be limited during construction as portions of both parking lots off Watt Road will be used for materials and equipment during the project. Park users are urged to use the parking lot located off Harrison Lane – access is available to Harrison Lane from Kingston Pike just east of Dixie Lee junction.
