A capital improvements coordinator has been added to the Town of Farragut staff to oversee multiple engineering projects. Ben White, who has 35 years of industry experience, stepped into the role in July.
Before joining the Town staff, White served as capital improvements coordinator for Knox County for 22 years. He is a Farragut High School graduate and lives in Concord.
“Ben has many years of experience coordinating capital projects, particularly roadway projects, for Knox County,” says Town Engineer Darryl Smith. “His knowledge, expertise and integrity are beyond reproach. With all the work going on now and in the near future, adding Ben to our staff is a tremendous boost to our ability to provide proper oversight of our projects.”
Incorporated in 1980, the Town of Farragut has top schools, safe neighborhoods and high development standards, making it one of the best places to live in the Southeast.
