Vendors, carolers and food trucks sought for Light the Park

Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate in nightly giveaways at Light the Park at Founders Park at Campbell Station (405 N. Campbell Station Road) from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, through Wednesday, Dec. 23. This is the second year that businesses and organizations have had the opportunity to hand out goodies, treats, crafts and more at this annual holiday event.

Individuals or groups can also register to carol during the same period. Caroling can be conducted on stage or on walking trails throughout the park.

This year also adds food trucks to the lineup. Interested food truck owners must have trucks inspected by Fire Marshal Dan Johnson. Contact Brittany Spencer at bspencer@townoffarragut.org. to schedule an inspection.

Light the Park takes place rain or shine. Each evening’s event schedule will be advertised on Farragut Parks & Rec social media and at farragutparksandrec.org.

Signing up for giveaways, food truck operation and caroling is free, but you must contact Brittany Spencer at bspencer@townoffarragut.org. to be added to the event calendar.

For more information about Light the Park, email Brittany or call 218-3378.
