Bart Hose is New Assistant Community Development Director

The Town of Farragut has hired Bart Hose as the new assistant community development director.

He has a long-time relationship with the Town’s development department. During his 23-year tenure with the state’s Local Planning Assistance Office in Knoxville, he worked on Farragut’s 2001 Land Use Plan, the Community Facilities Plan and the Development Manual on a contract basis.

After the office was eliminated in 2011, Hose became a planner for Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. He’s looking forward to the opportunity to get back to community development.

A Long Island native, Hose came to Tennessee to attend graduate school 32 years ago and never left. He now considers himself an honorary Southerner.
