Farragut Treasure Hunt Yields Fun and Prizes for Online Participants

Shop Farragut and the Town of Farragut are teaming up with Farragut businesses for an exciting—and rewarding—online contest that will showcase the Town’s diverse shopping and dining options!

To join the Farragut Treasure Hunt, participants must visit the Town of Farragut Facebook page and click the “going” button on the Farragut Treasure Hunt event. At 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, three clues for a local business will be posted on the event page. Those who solve the riddle and visit the location during business hours will be rewarded with a welcome prize. Clues for three other businesses will be posted at 10 a.m. on the following three days for a total of four treasure-hunting opportunities.

The largest bounty awaits those who visit all four businesses and post a picture of themselves at each location to the Farragut Treasure Hunt event page with the hashtag #farraguttreasurehunt. A grand prize and two runner-up prizes will be awarded, via a random drawing, to participants who post from all four businesses. Winners garner these glittering goods:

GRAND PRIZE: One pair of ¼-carat diamond earrings and $50 gift card from Rick Terry Jewelry Designs, a $120 gift basket with wine, seasonings and steak knives from LongHorn Steakhouse of Farragut, four admissions and skate rentals from Cool Sports, a Year of Pie card from Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, a $35 gift certificate from Seasons Innovative Bar & Grille, two Zalads and two milkshakes from Zaxby’s and a Town of Farragut pavilion rental

FIRST RUNNER UP: Gift bag with t-shirt and gift certificate worth over $200 from OsteoStrong Farragut, a $50 gift certificate from Restaurant Linderhof, two Zalads from Zaxby’s, a $50 gift certificate from Rick Terry Jewelry Design and four skate rentals from Cool Sports

Only the first 100 treasure hunters who visit each location will receive a welcome prize, but participants may visit locations anytime, and in any order, during business hours through 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. The prize drawing will take place on Monday, Aug. 7, and winners will be announced on Facebook Tuesday, Aug. 8.

Treasure hunters must be at least 16 to participate. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or associated with Facebook. To see the entire list of rules regarding the Farragut Treasure Hunt, click here.
