Farragut Museum Offers Weekend Hours

The Farragut Museum, located at Farragut Town Hall, is always free and open 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Now, it will also be open on the third Sunday of each month to accommodate those who can’t visit during the week. Here are summer weekend hours:


  • 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15
  • 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 19
  • 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, in conjunction with the Admiral Farragut presentation at 6:00 p.m.
  • 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 16


Farragut Town Hall is located at 11408 Municipal Center Drive. The Farragut Museum is committed to preserving the heritage of its East Tennessee community and features a remarkable collection of artifacts from the area, including an extensive collection of the personal belongings of Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, first Admiral of the U.S Navy and hero of the Civil War.
