No owner, or agent of such owner of any lot, place or area within one hundred (100) feet of an occupied building which building is located within a residential subdivision in the town, shall permit on such lot, place or area, or upon any sidewalk abutting the same, any weeds, grass, or deleterious, unhealthful growths, or noxious matter, that may be growing, lying, or located thereon to exceed a height of twelve (12) inches. This section does not apply to the owner or operator of an operating farm.
If the grass/weeds exceed the height of twelve (12) inches feel free to file a concern with the Citizen Request Tracker to have this resolved.

The Town also holds many special events throughout the year. A sample of events includes the Shamrock Ball at Farragut High School, the Bob Watt Youth Fishing Rodeo at Anchor Park and Freaky Friday Fright Nite at Mayor Bob Leonard Park. The Town of Farragut is responsible for the administration and enforcement of stormwater and drainage management regulations and associated inspections, including maintenance of the stormwater and drainage system located in public rights-of-way along public streets and other public lands. Additionally, the Town is responsible for the administration and enforcement of floodplain management regulations and associated inspections.
The Town of Farragut is not responsible for the maintenance of stormwater and drainage features located on private property nor within easements on private property.
Private property owners are solely responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of stormwater and drainage features located on their property. Said stormwater and drainage features include (nonexclusively): a good surface cover such as grass to minimize erosion, drainage easements, pipes, open grass swales, detention/retention/sediment basins, oil/water separators, rainwater harvesting systems, pervious paving systems, rain gardens, proprietary water treatment devices etc.
THE TOWN OF FARRAGUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DEVIATE FROM THIS POLICY FOR THE HEALTH, WELFARE, AND SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY

The Stormwater Advisory Committee (SAC) meets every second Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
Some things to keep in mind before emptying your pool:- chlorine should be allowed to dissipate for a few days prior to discharge- discharge should be in a grassy area, as far away from waters of the state (Turkey Creek, Little Turkey Creek or Fort Loudoun Lake) as possible- rate of discharge should be such as to maximize infiltration into soil without forming a point source and - no soil erosion should occur. This policy applies only to pools that use chlorine as a disinfectant. Other disinfection products are not covered by this policy. Discharges from pools that use other disinfection products must either be routed to a sanitary sewer, or obtain a no-discharge (land application) state operating permit or point source discharge (NPDES) permit.
So in short, yes, it is allowable to discharge your pool over your lawn. Just make sure you let the chlorine dissipate for several days before doing so and make sure the discharge is slow and steady to optimize infiltration.
