The Town of Farragut 2nd Introduction to Farragut program registration is closed for this year. 

Introduction to Farragut will be a unique way to connect participants with the Town, providing information on its history, government structure and operations, public safety, education, and volunteer opportunities. The program will begin with a reception and campaign kick-off at the Farragut Town Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Classes will be held on the following Tuesdays – January 28, February 11, February 25, March 11, and March 25-from 6:00 to 8:30p.m. also at the Farragut Town Hall. Graduation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8.

Program requirements include attending the January 15, 2014 reception and campaign kick-off. At least four of the five classes from January to March as well as attending one Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting (2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month) and one Municipal Planning Commission meeting (3rd Thursday of each month).

The complete program schedule outlines the specific topics assigned to each class.

The application can be printed off to complete and emailed or mailed to the Farragut Town Hall to the attention of Valerie Millsapps. The 2014 class is full. You are welcome to fill out a application and be placed on hold for the next class.
