Get a Refresher on the Rules of the Road at AARP's Driver Safety Course

What:  The Town of Farragut will host a driver safety program sponsored by AARP for adults age 50 and older. Participants must complete eight hours of class time to be eligible for a discount (up to 10%) on their auto insurance. The program, taught by trained AARP volunteer Madelyn Perault, is designed to cover topics such as age-related physical changes and declining perceptual skills and to serve as a refresher course for the rules of the road, local driving problems and license renewal requirements.

 

When:  Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22, 2008 - 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

(Participants must attend both days to be eligible.)

                       

Where:  Community Room in the Farragut Town Hall

11408 Municipal Center Drive (across from the Farragut Branch Post Office)

 

Cost:  $10 (All supplies included; snacks and beverages will be provided.)
