Get an Introduction to Spanish at the Town Hall

What:  An Introduction to Spanish Conversation for Adults class will be held in June. This relaxed class will follow a communicative approach which springs from the idea that languages are best learned when real-world information becomes the focus of student activities. From the first session, students will interact in Spanish with the instructor and with classmates. By the end of the course, students should be able to successfully handle several useful communicative tasks in Spanish. The class will be taught by Dan Hickman, former Spanish instructor at the University of Tennessee, Maryville College and Indiana University, among others, and owner of Corporate Spanish of Knoxville, Inc., a Farragut-based translation service.

Cost:  $119 (includes cost of book)

 

When:  Mondays, June 2 - 30, 2008 (4 weeks, no class on June 16)

6:30 - 7:45 p.m.

 

Where:  Community Room, Farragut Town Hall

11408 Municipal Center Drive across from the Farragut Branch Post Office
