Biography

David White has lived in Farragut over 70 years. He graduated from Farragut High School in 1964 and worked as a machinist at Y-12 in Oak Ridge for 17 years. He then took a job with a local developer and spent 13 years developing shopping centers before starting his own business as a general contractor. He retired after working for himself for 24 years.

He was elected as Ward 2 (South Ward) alderman in 2022.

David has been married to his wife, Sandy, for 55 years. They had three children and have three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
