Mobile Food Vending Permit

Any time a mobile food unit is operating in the Town of Farragut, Town approval will be required.

Permit-holding mobile food units are authorized to operate in the following events/circumstances:

  • Special Events hosted by HOAs, nonprofit organizations or businesses. Visit Special Event Application Process to learn more. To see a list of upcoming events in the Town of Farragut: visitfarragut.org/events.
  • Pavilion rentals in town-owned parks (authorized by the Farragut Parks & Recreation Department)
  • Athletic tournaments in town-owned parks
  • In the confines of 11321 Kingston Pike (35 North restaurant operations)

HOW TO OBTAIN A PERMIT

  1. Print the application and checklist and submit with payment ($100) in person at Farragut Town Hall or by mail (11408 Municipal Center Drive).
  2. Schedule an inspection with the Town of Farragut Fire Marshal by calling 865-675-2384.
  3. Following a successful inspection, you will be issued a permit decal to proudly display on your mobile food unit.

Note: Permits are issued annually and must be renewed.
