The Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) is currently working to establish needs and priorities for the FY2022 budget. The following is a schedule of upcoming BMA meetings and workshops to discuss the proposed budget:
Thursday, March 11 – General Fund Revenue/Expenditure Projections, BMA Workshop
Thursday, March 25 – CIP Workshop
Thursday April 8 – Equipment Fund, CIP, Other Funds – BMA Workshop
Thursday, April 22 – Program Changes
Friday, April 30 – Draft Budget to BMA
Thursday, May 27 – First reading of Budget Ordinance & Fee Schedule
Thursday, June 10 – Second and final reading of Budget Ordinance
While budget workshops are for the benefit of board members, citizens are welcome and encouraged to watch these or any public BMA meetings and workshops online (townoffarragut.org/virtualmeetings or on the Town’s YouTube channel) and on cable (Charter channel 193 and TDS channel 3). Residents who wish to offer feedback regarding the budget process should contact a board representative:

Ward II (representing those south of Kingston Pike) – Ron Pinchok (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Drew Burnette (email@example.com)
Meetings are held virtually at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Workshops are before meetings; check the BMA agenda at townoffarragut.org/agendas for start time. Gov. Lee’s executive orders regarding public meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic currently allow virtual meetings through April 28.
