The Town’s insurer requires that groups using Town fields have liability insurance. A policy can be obtained through most insurers; many sports organizations have a national governing body that will also sell these policies. For a sample copy of the insurance form, click here.

The Town has seven pavilions available for rental that can accommodate small gatherings and groups up to 200 people in size. To see the pavilion availability schedule, click here. Please note that if the date on the calendar is blank the facility is not available. Use the drop down menu at the top right hand corner of the calendar to switch facilities. To reserve a pavilion, click on the available date and follow the prompts. If you have never reserved a pavilion online with us you will be required to create an account. To reserve a pavilion by telephone, please call (865) 218-3375. Please note that when reserving a pavilion at McFee Park you are NOT reserving the splash pad. We cannot guarantee that the splash pad will be operating during your rental.
Natural grass athletic fields at Town parks open for the season during the first weekend of March and generally close at the beginning of November. Synthetic turf fields are available for rental year round.
Only organized groups that are able to provide proof of liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage are able to reserve Town fields. Groups that can provide proof of insurance can reserve time through the seasonal field allocation process, or rent on a first-come, first-serve prepay basis. The field allocation process allows groups to rent a large amount of time prior to the next season and offers an installment method of payment. This process is done twice a year; once in January for the spring/summer season and again in June for the fall/winter rental season. Tournament rentals are also available. Field rental prices are $20 per hour for natural grass fields and $40 per hour for synthetic turf fields.

The Town Hall Community Room is no longer available to rent. Classroom space, as well as the gym and Assembly Hall, are available for rent at the Farragut Community Center. To reserve space at the Farragut Community Center, please call 865-218-3376.

Because the parks are maintained with taxpayer dollars, any business or for profit group needs to arrange usage by calling Lauren Cox at (865) 218-3376. There is a $25 per hour fee and proof of liability insurance is required.

The Farragut Museum is open Monday - Friday from 11am to 2pm with the exception of holidays. For more information on the museum, click here.
Groups can tour the Museum during regular hours, docents are on duty to assist with questions. Groups can also arrange for tours outside normal museum hours by contacting Julia Barham at firstname.lastname@example.org.
