I reported a complaint weeks ago. Why has nothing been done to the property?

The responsible party must be provided notice that there is an issue. The Town provides them with a reasonable time period to correct the violation. In some cases, code enforcement will grant extensions to complete the work, or if no action is taken to correct the violation a citation to municipal court is issued and the judge will hear the case.  Please rest assured that your complaint is important and is being handled in the most expeditious and appropriate manner. If you have questions regarding the case you may contact Holley Marlowe at 865.966.7057 or hmarlowe@townoffarragut.org.
