1. What if I want to address a concern with the Mayor and Board of Aldermen?

You can file a request/concern online in the Other category at www.mygovernmentonline.org, and we will get your concern and/or question addressed. Or you can contact Jenn Hatmaker at the Town Hall at 865-966-7057 or by email at jhatmaker@townoffarragut.org, and she will contact the Mayor and Board of Aldermen on your behalf.

2. What can be done about overgrown yards and lots?

Farragut Municipal Code Sec. 14-33. - Weeds. No owner, or agent of such owner of any lot, place or area within 100 feet of an occupied building which building is located within in the Town, shall permit on such lot, place or area, or upon any sidewalk, driveway, trail, greenway or path abutting the same, any weeds, grass, or deleterious, unhealthful growths, or noxious matter, that may be growing, lying, or located thereon to exceed a height of 12 inches. This section does not apply to the owner or operator of an operating farm.

3. Who do I need to contact for a concern regarding animals?

Concerns regarding animals such as animal abuse, animals running at large, excessive barking, vicious/dangerous dogs, rabies control or animal bites, please contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Unit at 865-215-2444. For concerns involving wildlife, please contact the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency at 423-587-7037.

4. Does the Town of Farragut have a noise ordinance?

The Town of Farragut does not have a noise ordinance. If problems persist, contact the Knox County Sheriff's Department at 865-215-2444.

5. I have seen ATV's in Farragut subdivisions, what can be done about this?

If the ATV is on the road without a license and/or the driver does not hold a license, contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Department at 865-215-2444.

6. Do you have a concern about a Town park? Check to see if your concern is indeed at a Farragut park.

The Town of Farragut currently maintains four parks:

• Anchor Park: 11730 Turkey Creek Road 
• Founders Park at Campbell Station: 405 N. Campbell Station Park 
• Mayor Bob Leonard Park: 301 Watt Road 
• McFee Park: 917 McFee Road
